In the occasion of Saint Joseph name day, the visit will focus on the deepest meaning of the masterpiece by Da Vinci with a more intimate and familiar glance.

We will be able, both adults and children, to feel the same emotions and to reinterpret the passions of the Apostles as if we were seated at the same table, united in the search of truth.

The visit will deepen the historical figure of the genial artist that arrived to Milan from Florence when he was thirty years old: Leonardo slowly made his way through the artists mostly appreciated by the Duke Ludovico Maria Sforza as a portrait painter first, then as an engineer, finally as a versatile genius in every field of knowledge.

The Last Supper is at the highest point of his artistic parabola in Milan: it will be the masterpiece that mostly will give him universal regard and eternal fame.

Why did Leonardo decide to move from Florence to Milan in his thirties?

What was he told about Milan? What made him decide to leave Florence where he had established a successful career and move to a new town, meeting new people but also facing unbearable difficulties?

After the contemplation of the Last Supper, a true masterpiece by the Florentine Master, which was made possible by the patronage of the Duke of Milan Ludovico il Moro, we move to the educational room. Here, using VR headsets, we immerse ourselves in the Milan of Leonardo and Ludovico’s times.
